  • Day 1 Arrive Hanoi

    Be met and transferred to your hotel before a Welcome Dinner this evening.
  • Day 2 Hanoi

    This morning, a tour of Hanoi will take you to the city’s most famous historical and cultural sites, including Ba Dinh Square and The Temple of Literature. You’ll also take a cyclo ride through the city.
  • Day 3 Hanoi, Ha Long Bay

    Enjoy lunch as you set off cruising through stunning scenery. Drop anchor later at Ban Chan Beach where you can go for a swim or participate in water activities.
  • Day 4 Ha Long Bay, Bai Tu Long Bay

    Perhaps enjoy Tai Chi on the sun deck during a leisurely morning on the water. After lunch, sail towards Bai Tu Long Bay for an afternoon spent swimming or kayaking, then visit Thien Canh Son Cave.
  • Day 5 Ha Long Bay, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon)

    Take a kayak or bamboo boat out to explore Vung Vieng fishing village before your ship returns to shore. Travel to Hanoi and fly to Ho Chi Minh City.
  • Day 6 Ho Chi Minh City, Long Tan OR Cu Chi Tunnels

  • Day 7 Ho Chi Minh City, My Tho, Embark Ship

    Later today, transfer to My Tho Port to embark your luxurious river ship for your eight-day Lower Mekong River cruise. This evening, enjoy an exclusive Luke Nguyen Welcome Dinner on board.
  • Day 8 Cai Be, Sa Dec

    A small boat will take you to Cai Be this morning. Step ashore to visit the French Gothic cathedral as well as the colourful port area. Visit a rice paper manufacturer then enjoy lunch back on board as your ship cruises towards the town of Sa Dec. On arrival here, enjoy a boat ride then visit a colourful Cao Dai Temple.
  • Day 9 Tan Chau, Evergreen Island, Border Crossing

    Board a small boat and journey along the tiny tributaries that snake around Tan Chau. Arrive at Tan Chau and step ashore for a rickshaw tour. Later, visit an evergreen island and discover rural Mekong life. This afternoon, perhaps attend a fruit-carving demonstration while border formalities are carried out and you cross into Cambodia.
  • Day 10 Phnom Penh

  • Day 11 Phnom Penh, Koh Chen

    After a free morning in Phnom Penh, cruise to remote Koh Chen, a small village specialising in copperware. Here, visit a selection of home-workshops.
  • Day 12 Prek K’dam,Oudong, Kampong Tralach

    Arrive in Prek K’dam and travel by coach to Oudong. Visit a monastery for a Buddhist blessing experience. Afterwards, continue to Kampong Tralach for a visit to Wat Kampong Tralach Pleu pagoda before an ox cart ride takes you through rice fields and a small village to rejoin your ship.
  • Day 13 Kampong Chhnang

    Today brings you an authentic glimpse into the local way of life as you jump aboard a small boat and head into the wetlands near Kampong Chhnang.
  • Day 14 Prek K’dam, Disembark Ship, Siem Reap

    Disembark your ship for the final time in Prek K’dam and be transferred to Siem Reap. Once there, head to the World Heritage-listed Angkor Archaeological Park to visit the capital of the Khmer Empire, Angkor Thom, and admire the Bayon temple.
  • Day 15 Siem Reap

    After sunrise, enjoy a guided tour of this impressive temple, the best-preserved temple of Angkor and said to be the world’s largest single religious monument. Return to your hotel for breakfast and some time at leisure. This afternoon, you’ll explore the intriguing temple of Ta Prohm, a World Heritage-listed site famous for its bewildering intertwined trees. Later, visit ‘Opportunities of Development thru Art’ (ODA), a Siem Reap organisation that provides education opportunities for disadvantaged children. A free evening then gives you the chance to dine wherever you wish.
  • Day 16 Siem Reap

    With the afternoon at leisure, perhaps step out to explore the city independently.
  • Day 17 Siem Reap, Yangon, Embark Ship

    Fly to Yangon today. On arrival, be met at the airport and transferred to the Irrawaddy River where you’ll board your river ship. Later, head back to the city to view Shwedagon Pagoda, glittering in gold at sunset. This evening, enjoy a Welcome Dinner on board.
  • Day 18 Yangon

    This afternoon, admire the views of endless rice fields and traditional stilt houses perched high over the water as your ship leisurely cruises along the river.
  • Day 19 Danuphyu

    Enjoy the morning on board your ship as you cruise to Danuphyu, where General Maha Bandula led a famous Burmese defensive against British troops in the First Anglo-Burmese War. Here, visit a cheroot (cigar) workshop.
  • Day 20 Myanaung

    Cruise onwards today to the quiet riverside township of Myanaung. Here, a guided walking tour will take you past a range of well-preserved colonial houses and on to the bustling local market.
  • Day 21 Pyay (Prome)

    Take in views of the Akauk Mountains and their river-facing cliff carvings as you cruise to Pyay for a walking tour. See a selection of pagodas, including the imposing Shwesandaw Pagoda, one of the country’s most revered religious sites. Later, travel to the ancient ruins at the old Pyu kingdom capital, Sri Ksetra, meaning ‘City of Splendour’.
  • Day 22 Thayetmyo

    Cruise into Thayetmyo, a port town that once sat on the border between upper and lower Myanmar. Here, enjoy a fascinating tour of the historic colonial-era post office before taking a swing at Myanmar’s very first golf course.
  • Day 23 Minhla, Magwe

    Stop in the town of Minhla to visit the historic Minhla Fort. Later, cruise to Magwe and head up to the Mya Tha Lun Pagoda.
  • Day 24 Salay

    Cruise to the village of Salay to visit Yoke Sone Kyaung, the region’s oldest surviving wooden monastery. Continue to Shinbin Maha Laba Man Paya, home to the country’s largest lacquer Buddha image.
  • Day 25 Tantkyi Hill, Bagan

    Climb Tantkyi Hill to visit the Tantkyitaung pagoda.
  • Day 26 Bagan

    After exploring the temples and pagodas of the Bagan Archaeological Zone, take a private horse and cart ride; enjoy a shopping tour; or ascend Mount Popa. Later, visit a lacquerware workshop.
  • Day 27 Yandabo

    Dock at the village of Yandabo and learn how the local people make terracotta pots from the Irrawaddy River clay.
  • Day 28 Inwa

    On a tour of Inwa by horse-drawn cart, see Maha Aung Mye Bon Zan Monastery and the Bagaya Monastery, built in 1593.
  • Day 29 Sagaing, Mingun

    In Sagaing, explore Soon U Ponya Shin and Kaunghmudaw pagodas. Later, cruise to Mingun and see the second-largest ringing bell in the world.
  • Day 30 Mandalay, Amarapura

    Your discovery of Mandalay includes the Mahamuni Buddha Temple, Kuthodaw Pagoda, Shwenandaw Monastery and more.
  • Day 31 Mandalay, Disembark Ship, Heho, Inle Lake

    Fly to Heho. Continue to Inle Lake and spend the afternoon at Red Mountain Winery.
  • Day 32 Inle Lake

    Spend the morning touring a number of pagodas then observe life at a floating village. Taste local cuisine at lunch before watching locals make silk and cheroots.
  • Day 33 Indein

    Explore the southern section of Inle Lake by boat. Visit the village of Indein, then admire floating gardens and the one-legged rowing technique used by local fishermen.
  • Day 34 Inle Lake, Heho, Depart Yangon

    Fly to Yangon where your tour ends.
