  • Day 1 Arrive Hanoi

    Be met and transferred to your hotel. Tonight, attend a Welcome Briefing and Dinner.
  • Day 2 Hanoi

  • Day 3 Hanoi, Ha Long Bay

    Treasure the chance to sail among thousands of spectacular limestone islets this afternoon as you glide along the azure waters. Enjoy lunch on your way towards the south region of Ha Long Bay, keeping your camera handy as you pass by Fighting Cocks and Titov islands. Later, your ship will drop anchor at Ban Chan Beach so you can go for a refreshing swim or participate in water activities.
  • Day 4 Ha Long Bay, Bai Tu Long Bay

    Perhaps enjoy Tai Chi on the sun deck during a leisurely morning spent cruising the bay. After lunch, your ship will sail towards Bai Tu Long Bay, an undeveloped region less frequented by tourists. Spend the afternoon swimming or kayaking before a guided visit to Thien Canh Son Cave. Tonight, perhaps try your hand at squid fishing with the crew.
  • Day 5 Ha Long Bay, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon)

    Return to shore and travel to Hanoi for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City.

    Later today, embark your ship and enjoy an exclusive Luke Nguyen Welcome Dinner.
  • Day 8 Cai Be, Sa Dec

    Enjoy the scenery as you set sail along the Mekong River today. A local boat will take you to the river-land town of Cai Be where you’ll step ashore to visit the French Gothic cathedral and a rice paper manufacturer. Rejoin your ship and continue cruising to the quaint town of Sa Dec. Here, pay a visit to a traditional Cao Dai temple.
  • Day 9 Tan Chau, Evergreen Island, Border Crossing

    Take a smallboat journey along the tiny tributaries around Tan Chau, then step ashore for a rickshaw tour of the town. Later, visit a remote evergreen island and discover authentic rural Mekong life. This afternoon, perhaps attend a fruit-carving demonstration by one of the ship’s chefs while border formalities are carried out and you cross into Cambodia.
  • Day 10 Phnom Penh

  • Day 11 Phnom Penh, Koh Chen

    With a free morning, perhaps relax aboard your luxurious ship or discover the delights of Phnom Penh independently. Later you’ll cruise to remote Koh Chen, a small village specialising in silverware and copperware. Visit the home workshops and perhaps purchase a memento of your trip.
  • Day 12 Prek K’dam, Oudong, Kampong Tralach

    Disembark in Prek K’dam and travel by coach to Oudong. During your time here, visit the monastery for a Buddhist blessing experience. Continue to Kampong Tralach before an ox cart ride takes you through rice fields and a small village to rejoin your ship.
  • Day 13 Kampong Chhnang

    Enjoy a relaxing excursion by small boat into the wetlands near Kampong Chhnang. After some time cruising, reflect on the days that have just gone by as you indulge in a Farewell Dinner aboard your ship.
  • Day 14 Prek K’dam, Disembark Ship, Siem Reap

    Disembark your ship for the final time in Prek K’dam and be transferred to Siem Reap. Once there, head to the World Heritage-listed Angkor Archaeological Park to visit the capital of the Khmer Empire, Angkor Thom, and admire the Bayon temple.
  • Day 15 Siem Reap

    After sunrise, enjoy a guided tour of this impressive temple, the best-preserved temple of Angkor and said to be the world’s largest single religious monument. Return to your hotel for breakfast and some time at leisure. This afternoon, you’ll explore the intriguing temple of Ta Prohm, a World Heritage-listed site famous for its bewildering intertwined trees. Later, visit ‘Opportunities of Development thru Art’ (ODA), a Siem Reap organisation that provides education opportunities for disadvantaged children. A free evening then gives you the chance to dine wherever you wish.
  • Day 16 Siem Reap

    With the afternoon at leisure, perhaps step out to explore the city independently. Tonight, enjoy a traditional Apsara dance performance during your dinner.
  • Day 17 Shanghai

    Upon arrival this morning, ride the high-speed Shanghai Maglev Train into the city centre. Enjoy the day at leisure before dinner.
  • Day 18 Shanghai

    Be joined by a local guide for an orientation tour through Shanghai, including visits to the Oriental Pearl Tower and a silk factory. After dinner at your leisure, enjoy premium seating at an impressive acrobatic show.
  • Day 19 Shanghai, Suzhou

    Travel to Suzhou, an ancient city whose winding canals and classical Chinese gardens have long attracted artists, poets and writers. As you cruise along the canals through the Old City you’ll get a real feel for local life by the water and enjoy lovely scenes of white-washed houses, stone bridges and traditional-style houses. Stop at a local silk factory before dinner tonight.
  • Day 20 Suzhou, Hangzhou

    Tonight, you may choose where to dine in Hangzhou.
  • Day 21 Hangzhou

    Cruise over the peaceful waters of West Lake, visit the Six Harmonies Pagoda, then enjoy a tea ceremony at the Dragon Well Tea Village. Lunch is at a village restaurant. Tonight’s dinner, meanwhile, features local cuisine.
  • Day 22 Hangzhou, Xi’an

    Today you will fly from Hangzhou to Xi’an, before enjoying your freedom of choice sightseeing activity.
  • Day 23 Xi’an, Terracotta Army

    Get your bearings as you explore the ancient city of Xi’an on a tour and visit a clay factory. Then, spend the afternoon at the Museum of Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses and the Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum. Here lie the three excavation pits where the of terracotta sculptures depicting the warriors of Qin Shi Huang, the First Emperor of China, were first unearthed by farmers in 1974.
  • Day 24 Xi’an, Chongqing, Embark Ship

    Fly to Chongqing and head to the Chongqing Zoo to view the critically endangered Giant Pandas. Later, transfer to your ship for the start of your Yangtze River cruise.
  • Day 25 Fengdu OR Relocation Tour

    Disembark your ship for a tour of Fengdu, a graceful little ‘Ghost City’, or take a ‘Relocation Tour’ and learn about the impact of the Three Gorges dam project on local families. Back on board this evening, enjoy the Captain’s Welcome Reception and a Welcome Dinner.
  • Day 26 Qutang Gorge, Wu Gorge, Shennong Stream, Xiling Gorge

    Cruise along the Yangtze River through China’s most picturesque area, the Three Gorges region. Pass through the longest of the Three Gorges, Xiling Gorge, cruising through Yellow Ox Gorge and under Huangling Temple, built around 770 BC-476 BC and set amid groves of orange and pomelo trees. Disembark at Badong and transfer to a traditional sampan (longboat) for a cruise along the river.
  • Day 27 Three Gorges Dam, Yichang, Disembark Ship, Beijing

    Continue cruising to the Three Gorges Dam, the world’s largest engineering project. Enjoy a tour then continue on to Yichang where you’ll disembark your ship and transfer to the airport for your flight to Beijing.
  • Day 28 Beijing

    On a guided city tour this morning, pay a visit to Tiananmen Square, before taking a tour of the Summer Palace. Head back to your hotel and enjoy afternoon tea.
  • Day 29 Beijing, Great Wall of China

    Tour the Badaling section of the Great Wall of China. This evening, back in Beijing, indulge in an authentic Peking Duck banquet featuring traditional accompaniments.
  • Day 30 Depart Beijing

    Transfer to the airport after breakfast for your onward flight.
