Following a guided tour, enjoy time at leisure.
Day 3 Vancouver, Rocky Mountaineer, Kamloops
Board the Rocky Mountaineer and enjoy GoldLeaf Service as you travel to Kamloops.
Day 4 Kamloops, Rocky Mountaineer, Banff
Your journey continues to Banff National Park.
Day 5 Banff
Select your activity. Tonight, enjoy dinner at a restaurant within your hotel.
Day 6 Banff, Lake Louise
Board the Banff Gondola and ascend Sulphur Mountain, where you’ll be awestruck by the sweeping panoramic views out over six mountain ranges. Returning to the foot of the mountain and enjoy a guided tour of the town, then set out along the Trans-Canada Highway. Travel through the lush forest of Banff National Park on your way to the iconic Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise. Overlooking the turquoise shores of Lake Louise, you’ll treasure your stay at one of the most alluring locations on the planet.
Day 7 Moraine Lake, Lake Louise
Travel to Moraine Lake, located in the Valley of the Ten Peaks, and spend time marvelling at its glacially fed waters tinted a brilliant shade of blue. You’ll then look forward to a free evening at Lake Louise, during which you can enjoy the location as you wish.
Day 8 Lake Louise, Athabasca Glacier, Jasper
Ride onto the Athabasca Glacier and visit the Glacier Skywalk. Continue to Jasper.
Day 9 Jasper
Today, our Freedom of Choice options offer a thrilling perspective on this rugged wilderness.
Day 10 Jasper, Blue River, Sun Peaks
Join the Yellowhead Highway and re-enter British Columbia, stopping to take in views of Mt Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. Continue your journey to Sun Peaks.
Day 11 Sun Peaks, Whistler
Travel to the alpine resort town of Whistler.
Day 12 Whistler
After a fun-filled day, you’ll appreciate an evening at leisure.
Day 13 Whistler, Georgia Strait, Victoria
Ride a ferry across Georgia Strait to Victoria. Perhaps take a one-hour floatplane flight from Whistler to Victoria (own expense).
Day 14 Victoria, The Butchart Gardens
Enjoy a special dinner with your fellow travellers this evening.
Day 15 Victoria, Vancouver, Embark Ship
Board your ship in Vancouver and get ready for your Inside Passage cruise.
Day 16 Cruise the Inside Passage
Glide past rocky headlands and over the icy waters of the Inside Passage, one of the most picturesque sea lanes in the world.
Day 17 Juneau
After a morning of scenic cruising, your ship docks in Juneau. Here, you can take part in an excursion (own expense).
Day 18 Skagway
Arrive in Skagway, at the Inside Passage’s northernmost point. Once a gateway city for the Klondike Gold Rush, Skagway’s frontier-style atmosphere remains evident today. See many of its colourful heritage buildings now protected as part of the Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park. Here, a variety of excursions are on offer (own expense).
Day 19 Glacier Bay National Park
Wake to the breathtaking sight of World Heritage-listed Glacier Bay National Park, which boasts more actively calving tidewater glaciers than anywhere else. As you cruise through the national park and take in the rivers of ice and sky-high peaks, you’ll benefit from the insightful commentary of local rangers who will come aboard your ship to explain the geological wonders and point out some of the diverse wildlife. You may be among the lucky few to sight whales in the wild. Humpbacks and orcas are plentiful in these waters.
Day 20 Ketchikan
A cheerful town set on the shores of the Tongass Narrows, Ketchikan and its surrounds present a range of attractions, including Misty Fjords National Monument - one of America’s largest wilderness areas. Disembark and spend the day exploring as you please.
Day 21 The Inside Passage
Heading south through the Inside Passage, watch the glorious landscape slip by on your final day at sea. Or relax and make use of the wonderful amenities on board your ship.
Day 22 Vancouver, Disembark Ship, San Francisco
Disembark and transfer to the airport for your flight to San Francisco (flight not included).
Day 23 San Francisco
Enjoy the day at leisure before joining your Tour Director at tonight’s dinner.
Day 24 San Francisco
Today is dedicated to discovering the iconic sights and hidden gems of San Francisco with a guided city tour. This afternoon, set out for the prison-island of Alcatraz by ferry for a tour of this haunting location.
Day 25 San Francisco, Napa Valley, Yosemite National Park
Travel to Napa Valley for a wine tasting and tour at an iconic vineyard, then head to Yosemite National Park.
Day 26 Yosemite National Park
Board an open-air tram tour with a local ranger and see the wonders of this magnificent World Heritage-listed park.
Day 27 Yosemite National Park, Monterey, Carmel-by-the-Sea
Journey along 17-Mile Drive to Monterey. Spend time in Carmel-by-the-Sea, a popular seaside resort town founded in 1880.
Day 28 Monterey, Santa Barbara
Your day is spent making the most of the places you visit with exclusive and unique Signature Experiences.
Day 29 Santa Barbara, Los Angeles
Continue along the coast to Los Angeles. On arrival, set out on your chosen activity.
Day 30 Los Angeles
Discover Los Angeles, the city of stars, on a city tour. See the downtown area, City Hall and Disney Concert Hall. Marvel at Sunset Strip and scope out Beverly Hills, then head to Santa Monica and explore Venice Beach and the canal district.
Day 31 Depart Los Angeles
Your North America journey comes to an end after breakfast. Transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
