Day By Day
Day 1 Arrive Venice, Embark CruiseArrive in Venice and be transferred to your luxurious vessel. This evening, enjoy a Welcome Drinks and Dinner.
Day 2 SenjDock in Senj and travel to stunning Plitvice Lakes National Park, the oldest national park in Southeast Europe. Accompanied by a local guide, you’ll head into this enthralling patch of Croatian wilderness, discovering tumbling waterfalls and exploring its glittering lakes.
Day 3 Zadar, ŠibenikIn Zadar, take a brief orientation tour before enjoying a relaxing morning at leisure. Later, head to Šibenik and enjoy a walking tour. Marvel at sights that include St Jacob’s Cathedral, listed as a UNESCO World Cultural Monument.
Day 4 SplitExperience the sights of Split today with a full day to explore including the World Heritage-listed site of Diocletian’s Palace. This is one of the most famous buildings on the eastern coast of the Adriatic. The palace is today a bustling mini-city that serves as a residential and commercial hub. We will remain in port until midnight so you will have plenty of time to discover this beautiful port as you please. Perhaps take a post dinner stroll and meet some friendly locals on the way.
Day 5 KorculaWander the charming cobbled streets of Korcula’s old town, making a stop to inspect the Cathedral of St Mark. Visit Marco Polo’s family home before strolling among olive groves and sampling local wine. A midnight departure ensures ample time to explore at leisure and absorb the amazing setting.
Day 6 DubrovnikA late departure allows you ample time to further discover Dubrovnik this afternoon.
Day 7 KotorCruise the stunning fjord of Kotor Bay in Montenegro. Upon arrival in Kotor, enjoy a walking tour of the Old Town. During time at leisure, those feeling energetic may like to climb the 1,350 steps to the top of the town’s fortifications, or alternatively, delve into history at the Maritime Museum.
Day 8 Otranto, LecceAfter enjoying your Freedom of Choice options today, return to the ship and sail towards Itea in Greece, before enjoying some fine dining in the evening.
Day 9 Itea, Corinth Canal, AthensThis morning, arrive in the Greek port of Itea and set off on an excursion to the sacred site of Delphi. Back on board this afternoon, your ship will traverse the Corinth Canal, just 21.3 metres wide. Having arrived into Athens this evening, you may like to step out for a stroll.
Day 10 AthensThere’s nothing quite like waking up amidst the enchanting Greek capital, knowing its ancient sites are just beyond your doorstep. Discover Athens on a city tour, taking in all the best bits with a local guide.
Day 11 MykonosLand on the dazzling Greek isle of Mykonos where you’ll join a walking tour through the main town of Chora, strolling through the tangle of tiny lanes and whitewashed buildings. With the afternoon at leisure, perhaps spend some time by the beach.
Day 12 Kusadasi, EphesusFrom the port of Kusadasi on Turkey’s Anatolian coast, drive to the partially excavated ancient city of Ephesus. Step back in time today as you immerse yourself in ancient Roman life and imagine the city’s former splendour.
Day 13 LesbosSpend the day in Mytilini, the capital of Lesbos. Admire the once grand 19th century mansions, and the imposing Byzantine castle of this port. This evening, take an exclusive after hours tour of the Museum of Olive Oil Production, where you will enjoy an authentic home-cooked meal and folk dancing performance.
Day 14 Gallipoli PeninsulaArrive at çanakkale and experience the ANZAC legend with a half-day at the Gallipoli Peninsula. See the many tunnels, trenches and memorials that remain as a tribute to those who lost their lives in the First World War. Commemorate at Anzac Cove, the Australian Memorial at Lone Pine, and the New Zealand Memorial at Chunuk Bair. On board, enjoy a Farewell Dinner.
Day 15 Athens, Disembark ShipDisembark Le Lyrial for the final time and be transferred to the airport.
